Bathroom Remodeling Showroom In
South Shore Boston
Visit Bay State Bath’s Pembroke Showroom To Explore
Eight Full Bath & Shower Remodel Displays
Most bathroom remodeling companies in South Shore Boston want you to choose a design from a brochure. Or worse — from a tiny sample board pulled out of the back of a truck.
At Bay State Bath, we think that’s ridiculous.
Bathroom remodeling is a major investment. You shouldn’t have to guess what your new shower or bath will look like. That’s why we built a dedicated bathroom remodeling showroom for real people with real lives.
And when you visit, you’ll meet the real people behind the company — including owner Jennifer Bylo, official bathroom design inspector Baby Richie (depending on naptime), and the team that has been remodeling bathrooms across the South Shore for more than 20 years.
Showroom located at 55 B Corporate Park Dr, Pembroke, MA, 02359
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday – 9am-6pm
- Friday – 9am-5pm
- Saturday – 9am – 4pm
- Sunday – Closed
Why Visit A Bathroom Remodeling Showroom?
Many homeowners researching bathroom remodeling in the South Shore Boston area are surprised to discover something:
Most contractors don’t have a showroom at all.
They rely on:
- Catalog photos
- Portable samples
- Laptop presentations
- Or quick in-home sales visits
But those methods make it difficult to understand what you’re actually buying.
Our bathroom showroom allows you to:
- Walk through actual shower and bath installations
- Compare shower designs side-by-side
- Feel the difference between materials
- See accessibility features in action
- Visualize layouts that actually work in real homes
As Bay State Bath owner, Jennifer Bylo, explains:
“If someone expects you to spend twenty or thirty thousand dollars on a bathroom without ever seeing the product installed, you should probably ask a few more questions.”
Explore 8 Real Bath & Shower Remodel Displays
Our showroom features eight bath and shower remodeling displays, each designed to help South Shore homeowners understand what’s possible in their own bathroom.
Instead of looking at small samples or brochures, you can experience and touch full-scale installations, understand layouts, and see how different shower systems, fixtures, and materials actually work together.
These displays help homeowners visualize:

Walk-In Shower Designs
Walk-in showers are one of the most popular upgrades for homeowners across the South Shore. Seeing different sizes and layouts in person makes it much easier to decide what works best for your space.

Tub-To-Shower Conversion Options
Many older Massachusetts homes still have large tubs that rarely get used. Our displays show how these spaces can be transformed into safer, easier-to-maintain showers.

Aging-In-Place Shower Features
Barrier-free entry showers, built-in seating, and safety grab bars are increasingly popular for homeowners planning long-term comfort and accessibility.

Space-Saving Shower Layouts
Bathrooms in older South Shore homes can be tight. Seeing compact shower layouts in person helps homeowners understand how much space can actually be reclaimed.
Meet The Team When You Visit The Showroom
One of the advantages of visiting our South Shore Boston bathroom showroom is that you’ll meet the actual people responsible for your remodel.
Not a traveling salesperson.
Not a temporary rep.
The REAL team.

Jennifer Bylo – Owner, Bay State Bath
Jennifer Bylo founded Bay State Bath and has been remodeling bathrooms in Massachusetts for more than two decades.
Before that, she worked as a nurse — which is why she tends to explain remodeling problems in very direct, practical terms…and with care.
Jennifer believes remodeling companies should be honest about what projects involve. As she often tells homeowners:
“Bathrooms look simple. Until you open the walls.”
Her approach focuses on doing the job correctly, pulling proper permits, and protecting homeowners from shortcuts that can create bigger problems later.

Baby Richie — Official Bathroom Design Inspector
If you schedule a showroom consultation, you might meet local celebrity, design inspector, and professional cutie, Baby Richie.
His jobs include:
- Splash Test Supervisor – Every bath display must pass the “Would I splash in this?” test. If the answer is yes… the design is approved.
- Bubble Bath Quality Inspector – Responsible for confirming that every tub is “bubble-worthy.”
- Grab Bar Pull Tester – If a toddler can yank on it with full force…it’s probably safe for everyone else too.
- Slip-Resistance Tester – Professional crawling evaluation of all shower floors.
- Official Rubber Duck Consultant – Ensures all tubs and showers remain compatible with rubber duck operations.
What To Bring To Your Bay State Bath Showroom Visit
Visiting the Bay State Bath showroom is the easiest way to start planning your bathroom remodel.
You don’t need to arrive fully prepared — our team will guide you through the process — but bringing a few simple things can make your visit even more productive.
Photos Of Your Current Bathroom
A few photos taken with your phone are incredibly helpful. Try to capture:
- The shower or tub area
- The vanity and sink area
- The full bathroom layout
Any problem areas (tight spaces, water damage, etc.)
Rough Bathroom Measurements (If You Have Them)
Don’t worry about precision — we’re not expecting architectural drawings. But rough measurements such as:
- Bathroom width and length
- Shower or tub size
- Ceiling height
can help us narrow down design options quickly while you’re in the showroom.
Inspiration Photos Or Design Ideas
If you’ve seen bathroom designs you love, bring them with you. Examples might include:
- Pinterest photos
- Houzz images
- Magazine clippings
Screenshots from remodeling websites
Questions About Your Bathroom
Most homeowners come to the showroom with a few key questions, such as:
- Should I keep my tub or convert to a shower?
- Can my bathroom support a walk-in shower?
- How long will my remodel take?
- What accessibility features should I consider?
The Decision Makers (If Possible)
If two people are involved in the project decision, it’s best if both attend the showroom visit. This helps everyone:
- See the design options together
- Ask questions
- Compare preferences
It can save a lot of back-and-forth later in the process.
An Open Mind
Many homeowners arrive with a specific idea in mind — and sometimes that idea works perfectly.
Other times, once you see the displays and understand the layout possibilities, you discover options that work even better for your home.
