He came to our home, walked us through all the options, pricing, and the overall process in detail, and answered every question thoroughly. What stood out most was the complete lack of pressure. In fact, Mike encouraged us to get additional quotes to compare. That level of confidence and transparency speaks volumes. We did have another company come out, and the experience was not even close. The difference in professionalism and approach made our decision easy. We cancelled our third appointment and knew immediately we wanted to move forward with Mike and Bay State Bath. When the project began, we met Fabio and Jorge, who handled the demolition and installation. We also had a painter, plumber, electrician, and a second crew who installed the finishing accessories. Every single person we interacted with was professional, respectful, and hardworking. The entire remodel was completed in just three days, which was extremely important to us since we only have one shower in the house. Fabio and Jorge worked beyond a standard eight hour day to ensure we had a fully functional shower and bath within that timeframe. Their work ethic and commitment to delivering on schedule were impressive. What stood out even more was that they went above and beyond the scope of the project. Another company had previously removed a piece of molding in our bathroom and never replaced it. Although this was not part of the contracted work, Fabio and Jorge took the time after already putting in long hours to properly replace and finish it. That level of care and pride in workmanship is rare. From consultation to completion, the professionalism, communication, craftsmanship, and overall execution were exceptional. Bay state recently replaced our shower, floor, vanity, and cabinet, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We had met with several other bathroom remodeling companies before we found Bay State, and we nearly went with one of them until we read their terms and conditions that contradicted what the salesperson said (it even had a clause that stated they did not have to honor anything that the salesperson said!). My advice to anyone going through the process is to READ the entire contract before signing to protect yourself. Bay State provided their straightforward Ts and Cs to us in advance, and the owner made herself available to answer any questions we had. Thanks to the entire team at Bay State Bath for doing such an outstanding job installing my new tub and wall system! From my very first interaction with design consultant Mike, to the installation itself, to follow-up calls from the main office, I was impressed with the professionalism, expertise, and efficiency of this company. Mike made it easy to weigh the pros and cons of the various options and select the best components for my bathroom. He had amazing patience with my endless questions, and his pride in the company really shone through. The installation team was incredibly skilled and efficient and included a plumber, which was reassuring. They carefully covered stairs and floors with tarps so there was never any mess in the house or even in the bathroom itself. They removed the old tub more quickly than I thought possible and checked in with me throughout the process about placement of grab bars, the shelving system, and more. I was bowled over by the beauty and fantastic workmanship of the completed bath/wall system! What a wonderful change from my faded old tub, which had started showing mold along the top edge. I had been nervous about undertaking (what for me was) a major project, but I am so glad I chose to work with Bay State Bath, as they made the process easy. Their prices were competitive with other companies I’d met with, and communication throughout the project was consistent and clear.
